Only the best feed quality hay and straw is used for our bales. We carefully blend our hays to provide a consistent quality product you can trust with each purchase, and our barley straw bales are full of soft strands ensuring your pet has a great source of fibre in its diet.

Each bale is individually packed and hermetically sealed in a plastic free film which is compostable - either commercially or domestically. The film can even be reused as a liner for your green waste caddy so there's absolutely no wastage.
Nearly all our hay is produced right here in the West Country. We help to keep our carbon footprint, and yours, to a minimum by guaranteeing that none of our hay is imported from Canada or the USA.
Several reasons. Firstly, the hay is compressed so the bale is more convenient to store in your home. The bale size is smaller than that of a cardboard box and cheaper to courier, which is better for your pocket. And finally, the waterproof compostable film helps keep the hay fresh, clean and dry.
Small animals are fussy eaters, especially rabbits. They have a crazy amount of tastebuds that need fulfilling so you may have to try several hay types before finding the one your pet enjoys. It's really important that the hay is rich in nutrients and fibre, like our Sweet Green Hay.
